On the way to the Blue Mountains (west of Sydney) some of the orchardists sell their apples on un-maned roadside stalls with just a small money jar.

Yesterday, hiking with my daughter in the mountains, I found another little shop woth drinks, ice-cream, coffee and snacks. They had the same system and gave even the opportunity to pay later by bank deposit, if they have not the correct amount ready.

Truly would be a different world if we could all live like this all the time. Yesterday at our farmers' market one of the store holders let me to take some of the herbs I wanted to buy, trusting that I would deposit the payment into her bank. Not quite the same though as we already know each other a little. 🦋✽🦋
