Cool post, i was actually writing a poem featuring Berlin but it's not finished yet, i can use your pics and post as inspiration maybe :D Btw, in Munich there's the "Englisher Garten" through which runs a river called the Isar. And in the garden it's a walled channel acouple a meters wide. So they put ropes over the river and attach tyres and rope to that and then you can waterski while standing still. I swam there and lost my swimming pants :D which is not a big problem, because in those days there was also a nude beach in the park... Not sure if that still exists though.
