If there is one thing in this world I will splurge and spend more, it is TRAVELING. For me, it is a form of rejuvenation that everybody surely wants to devour. Its giving time for me to breath and connect with myself. It is SELF-DISCOVERY. It is taking RISKS. Its LEARNING something new. Its rejecting FEAR. Its RECHARGING my batteries. Its LOVING MYSELF.
Being a Filipino, I feel so blessed that my countryland @philippines has a cornucopia of lavish destinations that are worthy of a traveler's bucket list. From its awe-inspiring, idyllic rolling hills of Batanes to the fabulous cascades of Lake Sebu, planning a trip anywhere in the Philippines is really overwhelming.
Here are the places in my travel bucket list for 2018. I am not a typical beach junkie rather I love to witness the wanderlust of mountains and historical places.

This is considered as the 2nd smallest province in the country in both population and land area after Batanes. It is said to be created by volcanic erruptions and land movements, thus named as Island Born of Fire. It has a total of seven volcanoes. Among the places to visit are White Sand Bar, Sunken Cemetery, Gui-ot Church Ruins, Sto. Nino Cold Springs, Katibawasan Falls and Ardent Hot Spring.

This is a province located in the region of Western Visayas. Famous for its world-class Dinagyang Festival and mouth-watering batchoy. It is named by CNN as Asia's City of Love. Places to visit includes Miag-ao Church, Molo Church, St. Anne Parish Church, Museo Ilo-Ilo, Calle Real, Garin Farm, Casa Mariquit and Agho Island.

An island province located in the Panay Gulf, between the islands of Panay and Negros. It is a prime tourist destination by both foreign and local tourists because of its white and pristine beaches and secluded offshore islets. It is considered to be the Mango Country and home of the sweetest mango in the world. Places to visit are Alubihod Bay, Guin Beach, Costa Arguada Island Resort, Nagarao Island, Isla Naburot and Mango Plantations.
VIGAN

Vigan is the country's most extensive and only surviving historic city that dates back to the 16th century Spanish Colonial Period. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and officially recognized as one of the New 7 Wonder Cities in the world. It is well known for its cobblestone streets and unique architecture. Top places to visit are Calle Crisologo, Bantay Bell Tower, Syquia Mansion, Crisologo Museum, Baluarte and Pagburnayon.
I know there are still a lot of places worth the visit but I will just have this list since I have limited time to travel. As I kick of 2018, I hope this list will not remain in my bucket but becomes a reality.
