Actually, not that casual, quite serious topics, but spoken in a casual way, cause well, we would like to think we are quite casual about serious topics LOL.
*My browser shows this wrong when I watch it from within the Steemit post, but it works when I click the video title to go to Youtube, then the 360 view is as it should be, strange... does yours also do this?
I took this video a year or 2 ago, when I still had loads of analogue stuff, as you can see the living room is jampacked with all kinds of paraphernalia as I call them. Since then I've let go of loads of physical things in the pursuit of trying to be more mobile so as to make travelling easier. But this is really a story for another day (I'll get to this analogue to digital tranistion in another post). For now, I'd love to share this conversation piece
as a way of perhaps starting a conversation with you guys and girls/men and women/people/steemians.
What are the conversations you and your friends have when you meet up? How often do you sit around in a room and have a conversation with friends? What type of topics usually come up?
We are in South Africa in this video and 3 people in the room are South Africans, one is Kenyan and the other is German. As South Africans (millennials, not the older generations) we are used to diversity as South Africans come from such different backgrounds themselves that we sometimes feel like we are travelling the world when we go to a suburb right next door. How is it where you are from? Is there diversity of culture?
We usually find a common ground in TV shows that we watched when we were kids, and at this point the non South Africans feel a bit left out though, but strangely for us South Africans we 'finally' feel like we are from one place haha. It's always been an amazing feeling for me to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures than where I come from. Where do you come from and what TV shows did you watch when you were a kid? Do you like meeting people from different places?
Thanks for reading and watching, I am looking forward to hear more about you and where you come from 😃🌍🌏🌎
