Hoyop - Hoyopan Cave is one of the many must visit places in the fascinating province of Albay, Bicol Region Philippines.
Whether you are with your Family or Friends, with your Travel buddy, or even you're alone Hoyop-Hoyopan cave is a fun place to visit.
Hoyop-Hoyopan Cave is situated at Camalig Albay, Philippines, and you can reach the place in less than an hour land trip from the City of Legazpi or from Daraga Airport.
What to expect from this cave are of course it's beautiful rock formations, a cool temperature inside, and you will see bats flying all over the cave.
There is also this part of the cave that so called "Disco Area" since this part of the cave gives a wide space ideal for a disco party, however yours truly wasn't able to capture own image of the "Disco Area."
Here are some peek as to what is inside the cave.
Stalactites are all over your head, and normally there are water dripping from the tips of these stalactites.
There are also mini rooms in the cave. Below shows the entrance to one of the mini rooms.
As to the entrance into the cave, you'll have this wide and beautiful entrance space,
Unlikely to the entrance with wide space, you have to pass through this narrow spaces for exit.
but before exiting if your feet and legs need to take a break first from walking around, don't worry there is this place inside with seats to rest and relax while still enjoying the view of rock formations.
but, It is just a bit frustrating seeing vandals in the seats certainly done by irresponsible and ill-mannered tourists.
One or two out of hundreds or even thousands of visitors will certainly do careless actions that could possibly harm and destroy the natural beauty not just of this cave but of the nature.
Nature is indeed have its own way of sending us message to respect, protect and preserve its beauty for sustainability. It is sending us message for our own god damn sake and we should be highly intelligent as we claimed to interpret the message nature wanted to relay.
Out of hundreds of rock formation inside the cave there is this unusual stalactite in a hand-like shape and seems like asking visitors to do "MANO."
"Mano" is the Filipino's honoring gesture to the elders, asking for their blessings and and showing them respect.
Doing "Mano" to the hand-like rock formation became a tradition in visiting the cave especially for the First time visitors.
We are often taking nature for granted, and it was the nature's way to voice out asking us for respect and for care, and we should not neglect the message, we must act and should start doing little things with greater impact for the protection of the nature.
Nature doesn't have the literal voice to shout and scream but that something we have, let us all serve as the voice of the nature in all platform, and we should make nature be heard by all, specially by the irresponsible nature destroyer.
Nature embrace and provided us with it's everything since our birth, now it is our time to return the favor.
