Happy Halloween, everyone!
Honestly, I have always loved this time of year, that enchanted period between Halloween and Christmas. So much festive fun, all kinds of great traditions, and so many opportunities for creating memories!
From pumpkin carving (or painting) to trick-or-treating to telling spooky stories, Halloween has some definite fun to it! Personally, I don't really get into the horror/gore aspect, though I'm fine with a little spooky mood or creepiness. Finding a balance is necessary for me.
One tradition we have had for almost ten years is going to Halloween parties at the Disney parks. These images were taken a couple of years ago at Disneyland, but we went to the party event at Disney World in Florida this year.
It's one of those times when adults can show off their inner kid and dress up in costume and even go trick-or-treating! It's nostalgic and lets grown-ups and kids have fun together (which was always supposed to be the point of the Disney parks in the first place.)
From the decor to the specialty characters that only come out for holiday events, Disney puts the best kind of Halloween magic into their parks.
But of course, the BEST part of the night is all the candy! LOL
