Naturally blessed Bangladesh has so many places to travel and enjoy. 'Haor' is one kind of them.
The word 'Haor' refers to kind of lake but much bigger than that. From wiki- "A haor (Bengali: হাওর), is a wetland ecosystem in the north eastern part of Bangladesh which physically is a bowl or saucer shaped shallow depression, also known as a backswamp. During monsoon haors receive surface runoff water from rivers and canals to become vast stretches of turbulent water. They turn into a vast inland seas within which the villages appear as islands".
I'd got chance to visit a haor beginning of this month. I'd visited the second largest haor in Bangladesh named "Tanguar -Haor"
I can't express how beautiful and adventurous was the journey. All the way from beginning to end we've enjoyed it. The haor is full of attractions. White clouds moving slow in the blue sky. At the end of sight is the mountain from Meghaloy at the border of India. The mountain is covered with light white clouds around it. You can't imagine without seeing it.
In the morning, we came back with a sweet memory. I hardly can forget the scenerio.
