Unfortunately, the government is anything but stable. We are the poorest member of the European Union because we allow our government to rob our country. We have bad roads, homeless dogs, and cats on the street, most of our hospitals are in really bad conditions and the education system is certainly not good enough. The government doesn't care. The people who work there seem to forget that they also live in this country and they share with us our motherland. As long as they have huge houses, fancy cars and properties here and there, they are good. It's pathetic. But I believe that this is our lesson because as a community, we need to be united in order to thrive. And hopefully, the things will change for the better. It's worth it because Bulgaria is an amazing country, a real piece of Heaven. We have stunning nature and so much history! Some places here are so powerful, mystical and magical, that you can feel it in your bones. I make road trips almost every week and soon I will be sharing some of my journeys if you are curious :)

howdy again kremena.shtereva! wow I'm so sorry that the government is like that. So obviously the local government officials are bought off by the EU officials and paid well to take from your country and give it to the EU who just squanders it!
That's treasonous.
Well I very much look forward to your road trips in Bulgaria, I am following you now.
thanks so much for the explanations and information!
Thank you! I am actually really happy that we are a part of the EU, otherwise, it could be worse. But it's far from great and hopefully, the situation will change for the better :)
howdy there kremena.shtereva! oh that's interesting..I thought the main problem was the EU and that they were stealing the countries wealth. Well then the main problem is just the way the country is run by the officials in Bulgaria?
It's not a free market system that encourages entrepreneurship and small businesses?
No, we just have our own people who steal :D To have a successful business here, people have to be creative and hardworking. And thankfully, there is the Internet :) Btw, surprisingly, the connection here is much better than many countries I've been, including the US :)
howdy this fine Wednesday kremena.shtereva...oh really? your connection is great..how do you know it's better than ours? I'm not surprised, ours is usually quite slow. Have you been to the United States on your travels?
and are you kind of an entrepreneur?
I was in Ohio once for four months, on a work and travel program. That's how I know the connection is slow :)
Not exactly yet but hopefully in the future.
howdy there kremena.shtereva! oh how interesting..well how did you like the United States? be honest I won't be offended if you thought we're all nuts. Especially since I'm in Texas but used to live in Ohio and I know alot of people up there truly ARE nuts! lol.
