In case you missed it , and I'm sure you did judging by the nr of views lol , please read part 1 first!

After you finish the Vatican tour , wait, there's more! Make sure to ask for directions , before exiting, to the Vatican garage. This is where all the old popemobiles are kept. Trust me, you will love it there. I found the place by mistake as I did not know it existed.

If you are curious more about their history and see a bunch more I found a useful link :

Here is my happy camper face during the trip. Yes , my hair grew back; I had it shaved to treat some sort of  dermatitis. TMI

The Vatican day was exhausting, I tell ya. We only had time for dinner and went to bed.

For dinner we decided to have a Roma's special - Spaghetti cacio pepe.  As I love Pasta, I loved this dish which you will find it extremely hard to make. You need Spaghetti , 200g Pecorino (hard cheese made from sheep milk) , salt and pepper aaaaaand that's it. No photos of it as I do not leave any evidence of my food ever existed.

The next day we put on the walking shoes and took a very long ride from hotel to Piazza del Popolo , to Piazza di Spagna (famous for the 135 step staircase) to Fontana di Trevi ( 26.3 m(86 ft) high and 49.15 m(161.3 ft) wide ).

We then hopped on Via dei fiori imperiali towards the Colosseum. We had a stop along the way to check out Basilica of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli  and Trajan column (built in the year 113 it Roman emperor Trajan's victory in the Dacian Wars) .

I must say , I was really hyped about the Colosseum but for whatever reason it disappoint.

Check out some photos below

Police blends in perfectly near the Colosseum

A menu for reference . Always on the lookout for tourist traps! They are usually in the big Piazzas'. You can avoid them  by just walking a few more meters towards a less crowded place. And always ask if cover and service are free. At least this is what I do. I know different countries and different cities have their own set mentalities.

I've put a little work into creating this article and will do the same for others to come, I promise
