Good evening Steemians!
Today I have three photos from the desert of California. I grew up in the desert (Las Vegas, Nevada) so this scenery is quite familiar to me.
Even wih the extreme conditions, life finds a way. Small shubbery lined the hills, as well as some Joshua trees. All the plants tend to have spines or pokey parts. They must protect themselves from becoming food. Everything edible out here will be found by the wildlife.
This is the only time I have seen white sand like this. I'm not sure if it is the sand or if it is salt left-over from water being here in the past. An incredible sight, as it stretched for miles.
Do you think you could survive in these conditions? We have developed lots of things to help us, but it impresses me that past cultures survived here without our current innovations.

while they the desert is dry, it is teeming with all manner of evil scorpions, and dreadful taratulas.
Tomb raider is the only one who can travese such dangerous lands
Life.... finds a way... Resteemed!
