READY ZETS GO : A great adventure of mountaineers in Cebu City, Philippines

in #travel7 years ago

Put your shoes on, travel light and come with me as we climb up to the inspiring story of these trekkers from Cebu City, Philippines.

TEAM ZETS: A group of mountaineer  consisting of 4 men, amazed me as they shared their inspiring story of trekking mountains in here in Cebu City. They have climbed mountains for several times but they took this great trekking adventure on Mt. Manghilao, Danao City, Cebu.

They went out on a day trek spotted in the bright and hot ray of the sun but never gave up until they reached the top.

As soon as they arrived at Mt. Manghilao, they went to see Sta. Ana Cross, a cross up in the mountain.

The next stop, is they trekked all the way to a secret waterfalls that has no name, because it is said that to avoid the site from being polluted or ruined and to preserve its astounding beauty of nature.

Then they head off to Brgy. Nangka, a baranggay with an estimated 20 houses with its distant neighborhood locations. They even had a refreshing break by having free coconuts freshly picked from the tree.

And that's how they spent their day as a mountaineer. "You climb, but then you fall and then you stand up and climb even higher."

WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A TREKKER?

•Be physically fit

•Take BMC (Basic Mountaineering Course) To be knowledgable of basic safety in mountaineering

•Fitness Training

•Team building

•Camping

Everybody can still do trekking without qualifying all of these. All it takes is to be strong and to be highly motivated to go on heights.

I do hope you guys were amazed with these inspiring trekkers, because I do. People nowadays do not engage their selves to more physical activities most especially in these form of activity. I hope that people who have read this entry might realize that they might do something and change something for their own good. We must also pay attention to our nature, it's really beautiful, it's a must see and not just to be ignored. We must also learn to preserve nature because it's a gift from this planet. It is not ours for us to ruin it. It is our obligation to take care and nourish it.

"WHEN YOU CLIMB UP, CLIMB EVEN HIGHER!"
