LOOKING BACK: My Visit in Bohol, Philippines

in #travel7 years ago

Hello Steemians!  I’ve been to so many places and there are so much things and memories to look back but I’m sharing you this photo which I took last year.

This photo was taken at Talibon, Bohol last May 2017. This place was my father’s hometown. I took this photo because I was amazed and I loved the concept of how people live there. People living here do farming and fishing as their source of living. Another reason why I took this was I just knew that this is an everyday scenario to all people there where all fishermen go for fishing early morning and gather them here in the small shore for them to sell and to make this also as their meal.

I was also amazed how the fishes they caught was just sold at a very cheaper price. Doing trade in rural areas are really the best for me. Since it’s cheaper, you can also get your goods in good quality. They are fresh and good in taste for sure.

For me, this is a place worth coming back for. Being here makes you feel like you are home. You are with good people, you’re in a place with abundance. Living in a city life is really fun, but sometimes we really need time for peace and a quiet place. Away from pollution, away from tall buildings. Nothing surrounds you but tall trees and the sound of birds.

XOXO,
