Chichen Itza is probably the most prominent example of Mayan architecture and was named one of the new seven world wonders. It receives a lot of tourism, but I made it inside before the tour buses arrived and was able to get this photo of the uncrowded pyramid with only very little Photoshop help!
It is rare to see it without other people. I can't wait to visit this place and see it in real life. Great capture.
