Bohol Escapade !!

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

"Bohol is a province of the Philippines, in the country’s Central Visayas region." Recently Bohol is visited by my many tourists , locals and foreign .

This is a blog about our first trip to Bohol together with my boyfriend and Japanese student . I was like a tour guide/ teacher and a friend at the same time to my student . Actually , this is my most trusted student so we decided to join him in his trip to Bohol . We stayed there for 2 days and an overnight . :)

We woke up very early at 4am in the morning to catch the first trip of the ferry going to Bohol Island . It only takes 2 hours and we started our day tour as soon as we arrive in Tagbilaran .

Our first stop is the Blood Compact site . It is well known for the statue of Blood compact . :)At the back of it you can see the ocean view.

Next stop is the animal park . Here you can see the biggest snake and many animals . :) I faced my fears of snake in Bohol . I was terrified with it but at that time the snake was sleeping . How lucky am I !

This is a civet cat , it can produce the most expensive coffee poo. I find it amazing that a coffee is made by this animal's poo. I don't know what will it taste though.

We were thirsty so we decided to drink fresh coconut juice and its my Japanese student really liked the taste of it .
He said that it tastes refreshing and it can quench the thirst . I totally agree with him . :)

We stopped by BUTTERFLY SANCTUARY . It is a place where you can see a lot of butterflies and they explain how they evolve . If I would become an insect I wanted to be a butterfly because its pretty and beautiful like me . HAHA . Just joking.

It's already lunch time so our next stop was eating at LOBOC RIVER FLOATING RESTAURANT . They served a buffet Filipino meal . You can just choose anything you want to eat .

During our meal , we were entertained by dancers and they were dancing a Filipino dance .
Both locals and foreigners were enjoying the entertainment provided and after the show , you are free to give some tips to them .

Bohol is famous for the smallest monkey which we called a tarsier . They are really tiny like a thumb size and they are quite shy so we should take a picture with a flash . The guide said that these creatures were decreasing so we can see a very few of them when we visited at that time . :(

Chocolate hills is the most popular tourist attraction in Bohol . The hills looks like chocolate . I wanted to eat it but I can't . Good thing the weather was cooperating and we took a lot of good pictures thought it was very hot at that time.

Bohol trip is one of my favorite trip because its my first time to tour a Japanese student and treated me like a daughter .
It was one of my unforgettable and precious moments . It is also interesting because I can know more about Philippine and Japanese culture.

If possible I would like to go back there soon and travel cost is not that expensive because Bohol is a province so you will only pay less for the entrance fee. You should not work for the budget , you can enjoy and relax at the same time.

That is all for now and I'll be sharing more about my travels in my next blog . I hope you enjoy my post . :)
