Bahalag wlay forever basta naay 'Bojo River'(I don't care if there is no Forever as long as there is a Bojo River). This place is the second destination we visited with my cousins :)
It take us 2-4 hours of journey to Bojo River . As we arrived, the first thing we saw is the astonish beauty of the mangroves that grow in the river. As we all know mangroves serves as the habitat of the fish and other sea creatures. Each mangroves has its main ecosystem that is very useful and important in sea and rivers.
Mangroves are very rich in that place. They preserved it since this tourist spot is a government own and it must be protected against abuse people.
Before we go to sail in a river cruise, the usherette instructed as the rules and the proper safety precautions. They provided as a Life jacket since we are crossing through the river to the sea.
Then after that we went to our respected baroto (a traditional boat), since we are composed of more than ten person then we choose a bigger boat.
Basically it takes us 45-minutes to see the beauty of that river. We felt relaxed and enjoy seeing the different types of mangroves that was planted in the river.
We learned a lot about the types and scientific names of mangroves because of ate Lina ( Our tour Guide). She told us how This river was discovered and what are the things that bojo river has. I won't tell you here because I want you guys to know about it personally :)
After 45 minutes, we are now in the end of the river which is now part of the sea. We are excited to jump and went swimming to the cold water :) It is very relaxing since it was surrounded with rocks and big trees :)
This river is a big help in their municipality because it serves as the livelyhood of most people living in that area.
Specially this serve as gateway for the fishermen since this river is connected to the sea where they can harvest the nature's bounty. :)
