To escape Hurricane Irma, my family evacuated to the Towneplace Suites by Marriott in Auburn, Alabama for two nights and now are staying in Nashville for our Steem meetup tomorrow as explained at https://steemit.com/meetup/@jerrybanfield/steem-meetup-in-nashville-saturday-sept-9.
Would you like to see the hotel we stayed at in the pictures below because I find it fun to check out where my friends are staying and I hope this post format is helpful to see how to do good travel posts? My wife @laurabanfield suggested this picture in front of the hotel with the dogs and our daughter for the main photo!

The hallway smells so fresh!
We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly even for our big dogs!

The drawers are fully loaded even with knives and Pyrex type dishes!
Huge living room with a fold out sofa!
3 HD TVs and we never turned one on ...

Two bedroom suite is SO nice for putting our daughter to bed!

As impressive as the blackout curtains looked, a lot of light came in on the first floor because of the lamps outside.

- I had fun doing my own travel post after seeing so many by those I follow!

Glad you found somewhere, my sister ended up inland of SC after 16 hours of driving from ft. lauderdale storm seems to be staying to the west more now but increasing now to a cat 5 again! Im glad you and others where smart enough to get out of there and not risk it. Its honestly not worth sticking around.

I did put my hurricane shutters and hope for the best.
It is hard to know the right path, but Florida will feel this monster in its entirety.
The weather has been going crazy! It's been super hot here in California, but summer's over.

Good job, Jerry - Yes you can do hotel reviews. Or any reviews. Keep your eyes open and review anything - restaurants, attractions, software etc.
You did really well. For future:
It's good to summarize your pros/cons in the beginning of the reviews for people who are trying to decide where to stay. Give them the bottom line up front and then they can read further for details.
Go over your reviews for seo before you post them. They will be evergreen and generate traffic over time. The location, hotel name, and "hotel review" should be repeated about three times each throughout any review of more than 500 words.
For your photos
Your text, tone and family stories are all perfect. Keep that going.
Your exterior shots are really good.The unused pool breaks my heart. I love the coat hangers so much.

Am staying in Ft. Lauderdale on my sailboat... if things look really BAD then I will find some place nearby to go to.... but I need to watch over my boat and a few other boats here because I guess I'm just not as afraid as perhaps I should be... I'm in my 60's and in good shape... and have lived a very full life.
