Is this a Theme Park? Is this an Amusement Park?

The answer is NO, it is a Hotel & Resort located at Barangay Manggahan, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas, Philippines. Our family had a great time last summer in this incredibly great location for family vacation and relaxation.

This resort have many attractions to see and enjoy. I'll show you some pictures of our relatives enjoying the view and the amenities inside the resort.

Here you can see one part of the said "Ifugao Village", the statue herein is an replica of a native Ifugao who guard the entrance of the village. (in the photo is our uncle Sherwin, his son Shane, aunt Mariane and her daughter Coleen and the cute little guy is Andrei).
This photo is a little bit funny because when I'm going to shoot it uncle Sherwin pulled out a joke on grabbing the huge banana display and shout out loud "What a big banana!" in a soft feminine voice before smiling back at the camera that makes us laugh really hard.
In this Ifugao Village you can rent for a "house" to stay. You'll be comfortable here because most of the rooms are fully air-conditioned and you'll enjoy the view of the Taal Lake in the patio of the room.

Below is a photo of the Taal Lake, we shoot this during our stay in a room in the Ifugao Village in the resort.
Such a relaxing view together with the fresh breeze of air and a sip of our very own "BARAKO COFEE".

Next photo is the "CASTLE", I just want you to know that this castle is not only an attraction in this resort you can also stay inside because it is one of the room available for rent but unfortunately it is a bit expensive that's why we're unable to afford it.

Below the castle is a kiddie pool where your kids will be able to enjoy because of the narrow water that is fitted for their height. Also there is a helicopter display which kids could play and ride on. (In the photo is aunt Nerie trying to ride the chopper, lol)

There are different pools to enjoy wherein some of the pools are in the middle of coconut plantation and you can experience the natural environment there. Some also have slides and umbrella to cover you from direct heat of the sunlight to prevent sunburn if you enjoy the pool too much and didn't notice that you had stayed for too long.

Some of the slides also have child friendly designs like this one below. It looks like a frog which sticking out its tongue in to the pool and apparently it is not the kids enjoying this slide, the one who enjoyed it the most is our joker uncle who is going to stick his head inside the mouth of the frog and played that he is going to be swallowed by it.

And uncle Sherwin did a great job of keeping our vacation fun not only because of the resort's amenities but also with his classic jokes to die laughing with.

There are also life size figures like Spider Man below the one that Andrei and Shane truly enjoy, they said that they idolize him afterwards they strike their own Spider Man pose. Even our niece Coleen enjoy this one.

Below is another life size figure but now it is not an action figure it is more of like a sacred one, the Buddha.
Just giving respect with the statue of Buddha, still we are Roman Catholic and believe with only one God.

There are also different fun activities inside the resort, unfortunately we don't have enough time to enjoy and try everything. You can try the Zipline which gives everyone an adrenaline rush or if your a sporty or fit one, you can try archery or wall climbing.

Before going home you can still take a glance or a photo of the Taal Lake and enjoy the natural beauty of the whole place. I hope you enjoy my story of our stay here in La Virginia Resort.

I wish we could go back here some other time and try all the fun activities and amenities inside the resort.
