howdy this fine Wednesday kremena.shtereva...oh really? your connection is great..how do you know it's better than ours? I'm not surprised, ours is usually quite slow. Have you been to the United States on your travels?
and are you kind of an entrepreneur?

I was in Ohio once for four months, on a work and travel program. That's how I know the connection is slow :)
Not exactly yet but hopefully in the future.
howdy there kremena.shtereva! oh how interesting..well how did you like the United States? be honest I won't be offended if you thought we're all nuts. Especially since I'm in Texas but used to live in Ohio and I know alot of people up there truly ARE nuts! lol.
lol actually I met lovely people :) And in general, I believe Americans are very kind. A bit close-fisted, but definitely nice! I find a bit weird the fact that women are willing to have many children. For example, I met ladies who have 5 or 6 kids, which is really strange to me. No judging, I am just surprised.
howdy back again kremena.shtereva! I'm glad you liked us, most of us are wonderful and caring. But what do you mean by "close-fisted"?
Yes 5 or 6 is alot, most have 2 or 3, why..how many kids to women in Bulgaria usually have?
I mean people rarely buy the better, they buy the cheaper thing (when it comes to food and clothes, for example). It's strange because Americans make much more money than us. Most Americans I met lack style, they just wear some cheap clothes. In Bulgaria, even people who don't make a lot of money have their own style.
Regarding the children - 1 or 2 is normal, seldom 3. Well, the gypsies have more, but it's because they receive money from the country and they don't even know the names of all children lol
hahaha! well howdy again kremena.shtereva! this is so interesting to learn about your country as well as see your impressions of us Americans. That is so true about style and clothing, most of us just don't care anything about style.
We just want to wear something comfortable like jeans and a tee-shirt.
that's what I have on right now, hiking boots, jeans and a sleeve-less tee-shirt because it's hot here in Texas.
probably 95% of us have no style in clothing whatsoever! lol.
You need to teach us some style!
And while it is true that we make alot of money, our cost of living is crazy high, probably much higher than Bulgaria? so we don't have much left over for nice clothes! lol.
Style has nothing to do with fashion. You can be stylish with the cheaper clothes. Just add something from you - a belt, a scarf or bandana, a piece of jewelry, a nice watch or something. Make nice colorful combination, not khaki with khaki. You Americans do like the khaki color. I find it the most boring one, but it matches well with almost anything else. I was working at Target and I needed to wear khaki jeans at work. Luckily, it looked great with the red t-shirts :) Regarding the standard, I may surprise you with a famous joke: There is a meeting of the presidents of Bulgaria, France, and the United States. Sarkozy says: "The salary in France is 4000 euro. When you remove the taxes, 3500 left. For a living, people need 2000. We don't care what they do with the other 1500." Obama says: "The salary in the US is 6000 dollars. When you remove the taxes, 5500 left. For a living, people need 3000. We don't care what they do with the other 2500.". Our president says: "The salary in Bulgaria is 600 leva. When you remove the taxes, 500 left. For a living, people need 1000. We don't care where they find the other 500." :D When I was in America 10 years ago I was able to make a pretty good salary (comparing to our standard) without even speaking the language well. Here, with good English and a Master degree, it's not guaranteed that you will find a job which salary can cover your basic needs. But this makes us smarter and more creative :)
