Wow I like the post a lot. I planned to go to Oman but eventually my plans changed and was not able to travel there anymore. Have you tried their local food and have some pictures of it? (It is probably standard Arabic Mezze but is there something else?). Furthermore, have you visited Khasab city in the north-west near the UAE border? Keep up the good work. Upvoted. That's sad you could not visit. Yes the food is kind of Arabic Mezze, but there are a few Omani specialities also, the Omani halwa is one, its sweet. Khasab city we haven't yet got a chance to visit but it is on our to do list, hopefully soon. Oman is a very rustic place and you find a mix of everthing here, the sea, the mountains and some parts also are very lush green like Salalah.

Thanks for the reply! I have heard about Salalah that it is the green part of Oman during certain periods. Definitely a nice country to visit.
