One of my favorite places in Scotland is Stirling, home of Stirling Castle. The pictures we took of the valley from the castle wall are perfect for Thursday Green.
In the distance you can see the William Wallace Monument in this shot.

Ya killin' me softly with these travel photos! This was such a great trip. I forgot to tell you a few weeks ago that I met a couple at the dog park and the guy is from Scotland. We talked about the Highlands. As soon as I mentioned the train to Millaig (sp?), he asked, "Did you see Glenfinnan?" My heart skipped a beat just from hearing someone with a Scottish accent talk about the Highlands.
I was just telling someone about Glenfinnan this week. I feel the same way. Love love that place:) And yes, I believe it is “Mallaig”.
