I have been there too, a few years a go. La Rochelle is also an amazing city. And if you a little more to the north, you have Île de Noirmoutier, which has a road leading to it thas is flooded every 12 hours, amazing sight!

For sure - there were quite a few local beers that were good!
I'll have to add this to the list of places I'd like to travel, especially since my wife and I have recently started cycling a lot. A whole trip where you cycle everywhere? Sounds great to me.

Definitely worth a visit!
We took a handful of photos - e.g. The one of the harbour was taken by me and so has no source. But this trip was pre-steemit and we are not really too big on photography so I didn't have any suitable to use - most were just selfies of us at various places
But will be making more of an effort to take pics in future!!

There were a few local craft beers which were nice - and otherwise most places had Kronenbourg and Heineken.

Yes this was truly beautiful. And your wife was able to keep up with you being pregnant while cycling? This is really cool. I'm sure there were many good memories from this day that you all will be able to share for years to come.
