Hi everybody welcome back to the new series!! Throwback Thursday!
Today in the Throwback Thursday series: my very first long trip outside Europe. Discovering Asia and Australia for six months! (Part 2)
When I was studying I was always dreaming about traveling and discovering the world. Not only to experience it but also to grow as a person and discover other cultures. I made sure I was always having a part-time job while I was studying and when I finally graduated in 2010 as was able to travel for six months straight!
I started traveling with a friend and afterwards by myself, the trip took me from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia ,Singapore Indonesia to Australia! And absolutely loved it. That’s where the travel bug all started.
Before we start just a small sum-up on what you can expect if you follow me.
From now on I will host my NBA Trivia on Wednesday, have this post lined up on Thursday and will give my take on the NBA every Sunday with my series on the best players of the week.
The rest of the week I will try to post about the Hidden gems in Amsterdam, the best places to travel to and the best celebrations in the world.
But today Throwback Thursday! Travels in Asia ! Hope you enjoy….
Hope you liked this post in the series, I have many more coming for you guys! I lived and worked in Australia for a year, did so as well in Canada. Also traveled Asia for six months and lived and worked on Cruise ships for just under a year.
So just stay tuned and I will see you all hopefully next Thursday!
For now just keep on traveling everybody and enjoy the NBA season as much as I do!
Six months straight. Now that's something. I have an American friend who travelled for about 9 months straight, spanning 4 continents.
It sure looks like u had a great time.
Nice! I traveled for almost four years straight but worked at the same time aswell to keep me going. Hope you can make a nice trip one day! thanks for stopping by more to come.
I'm very much looking forward to making trips. Although we earn barely enough to do so in Africa, I'm know I will someday. I'll stay tuned for more of your story.
Hugely admirable, friend.
Thanks, really loved the trip
I think I recognize the reclining Buddha from Ayutthaya! Either that or the statue is very similar :D Greetings from Vietnam!
