Man even reading this post gave me a very real impression of the luxury that must be a part of the living experience at their hotel, I really loved the idea of the lazy river and how you can just hop in and float around gently in the lap of luxury :-)
Middle East has always been big on luxury and grandeur but I guess not all places are able to offer a combination of a palatial and a comfortable stay. Sometimes staying at too luxurious a place could be a little intimidating for people new to the place, but if they go out of their way to make people more comfortable, then kudos to them.
Maybe one day I'll too land at Shanghrila's lap of luxury in Oman :-)
I am glad that you like it :D I couldn't agree more with the idea of the lazy river, I've been on the river at least twice a day! This is actually one of a few resorts that offer such an experience in Oman, as this country is highly different from the luxury Middle Eastern country like UAE or Saudi Arabia. They very well remain their natural beauty and landscapes. It's a perfect spot for adventurers to explore the areas like Wadis, the rich histories or to hike the Grand Canyon of Middle East. It's definitely a country that packed with different amazing experiences.
