I was out enjoying the decoration of Christmas in the city of Bangkok over the Christmas celebration and i know Christmas is over and we have all been busy getting our self back to reality after our break but i need to share and let you know about this little fabulous Food Truck i ran into while touring the Bangkok city.
My first impression walking towards it i thought someone had abandon this Shithole in the middle of Bangkok. On further inspection i realize it was a food truck or food caravan with a rooster sign sitting on the roof reading MONO-MONO hardly a name for a food truck.
I thought ok i must come back to this a bit later to find out what's really cooking in this food caravan. So i took of wondering around the city enjoying the Christmas vibes i noticed it was starting to get on the dark side and my tummy was starting to rumble for food so i decided to head back to this abandon Shithole to find out what it was all about.
Well from a little distance i could see it was open for business it's shutters where up and it was all lit up it started looking more interesting not like a Shithole anymore. I quickly noticed a beer selection just what i needed a nice cold beer...yep a nice cold San Miguel will do me fine and a food menu...thank you.
This was starting to impress me more by now i was sitting down comfortably sucking on a coldly and waiting for my chicken burger relaxing and doing a bit of people watching just perfect.
Apparently i had found out talking to one of the staff members that MONO - MONO Chicken had originated from a hugely popular Korean-style fried chicken restaurant in New York’s East Village that burned down in 2013 and has only recently moved into Bangkok as a restaurant and as a mobile food truck.
As i was chatting to this lovely lady about MONO-MONO my Chicken Burger was bought to me and it looked awesome my mouth was watering looking at it, melted cow's milk cheese all over the burger was just superb and very tasty and yummy just what i needed with a cold beer.
So next time you are in Thailand and you see one of these parked on the streets don't think it is a Shithole because they do make the most delicious chicken burger or fried chicken pieces to please your appetite with a cold beer to go with that at really reasonable prices not New York prices.

Good one :)
its a great way of serving the people's need and a good business as well
It is always nice to be sitting outdoor absorbing the going on's around you instead of been stuck around four walls i find it entertaining :)
Very cool photos. Thats one neat food truck.
Thank you it is one neat food truck i didn't expect that when i came back to it :)
It does look a bit like someone parked their caravan in the town centre! I'm pleased you went on to discover more about it and get a wonderful meal from them, although the photo you took into the food truck - the man behind the counter is giving you a suspicious look. Great blog, really enjoyed this one.
