My first visit to Thailand

It was the first time that I visited Thailand and exactly Bangkok. The weather was extremely nice and beautiful and not too hot. The flight was too long, more than 12 hours and I had problems sleeping in the airplane. It was a bit exhausting, but worth it. I stayed in the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hoten in Bangkok and my room was in the 33rd floor. The view was amazing and the service was excellent.

I was lucky because the hotel was very near the Terminal 21 shopping mall, where I could go and have dinner sometimes. Everything was connected through a bridge so you dont need to go down and cross the road in order to reach you destination. IMG_1006.JPG

I had Thai food for the first time. It was a bit similar to Chinese and very tasty. Something funny happened to me there lol I didnt had Sushi before visiting Thailand, but had always in mind that I need to try it. So I went to a Japanese Restaurant in the shopping mall. Ordered Sushi and green tea. They brought wasabi with my Sushi plate and everything looked perfect. I thought that wasabi was something similar to mayonnaise and took some of it to taste. I cant describe what happened to me, but I ended up with a read face and tears. Grabbed my cold green tea bottle and started drinking it, so I made everything worse. Anyway it stays as a funny memory whenever I eat Sushi :) I guess some other people had a similar experience.

Terminal 21 was a big shopping mall and it took my three days to discover all the shops in it. I really enjoyed the experience, because I wanted to do some shopping. Each floor has a different city theme and every shop is different. It has cities like Istanbul, Tokyo, San Francisco, London at different levels .Amazing cheap and nice things.

The funniest part that I will share with you is the electric toilet lol. Actually in my country we dont use them, so it was something new to discover. It has everything where you can change the temperature with a gentle warm dryer and shower spray. They dont use toilet paper and that is a very good step that I hope many countries will follow. Everything was very clean and well organized.

When you hear about Thailand, you hear more about massage centers. I wanted badly to have a massage and was a bit confused. They had a big choice mostly everywhere in the city and I wanted to make sure that I get a professional massage in the right place. I chose the " Lets relax Spa" in the same mall. It was very clean and professional. I had 3 hours of Thai massage, foot reflexology and the aromatic hot stone massage. It was very relaxing and felt like a new born after it.

Yes sure it is a pleasure :)

Hello @hanen. Great post, I like it very much. You look very pretty in that floral dress. That part where you ate wasabi is the funniest. I have many times teased some of my friends with wasabi hahahha. Of course they wanna kill me after. That electric toilet I have never seen in Malaysia also. Perhaps I would also get confused.. too much technologies right. That last statue is awesome. Upvoted. 👍👍👍

Hhhh yes wasabi is like a punishment!
Yes too much technologies, but it makes life easy :)

Wow i love this. You look stunningly beautiful and the food looks deliciously yummy.

Thank you. Yes Asian food is always yummy!

It looks like a good place it seems. What's your recommendation for food for those who are vegetarians? Is local food good to eat? :)

Yes of course you can have vegetable curry or vegetable fried rice and spring rolls. You dont eat sea food as well ?

Oh I do eat sea food and non veg good in general. Just not sure if sudden change of taste I can take it :)

Well they have great sea food dishes and many choices. I really enjoyed eating royal prawns there.

I was confused whether to focus on your photo or the toilet. :D

lol go step by step so that you dont get confused :)

Yes, did that and of course, your pics won over the toilet by a huge margin. :)

You look so small next to the big large sumos hahaaha... Glad you went there, I've never been to Thailand, but I have a Thai friend who has told me about it.

hhh yes true. It is an amazing place and very cheap. You will enjoy the trip :)
