Day 12 - Pushkar to Chittorgarh to Udaipur
Day 13 - Udairpur to Surat

Day 14:
Started early morning from Pushkar and first stop to reach Chittorgarh and then to UDaipur. Reached Chittorgarh by noon.

That fields were the wars used to happen! Good to watch from there if we have known time travel ;)

Finished our lunch there and head towards Udaipur. The morning at Pushkar we decided not to ride towards Ahmedabad and ship our bikes from there, instead we will ride till Bangalore. Everyone was excited about the new plan! We had 4 day's from Pushkar. So we planned to cover Chittorgarh and Udapipur in one day and then head towards Surat. However by the time we reached Udaipur it was already dark :( , spent the night roaming for the lakes of Udaipur.

Udaipur lake

Early morning we went to visit the fort but unfortunately it will open only after 10. We reached there by 7. However the authorities allowed inside the premises but not inside any of fort buildings and museum etc. We had to ride all the way from Udaipur to Surat that day, so we did not want to waste much time. Strolled around the fort for a while. It is one of the royal fort i have ever seen. No wonder its been called as Venice of the east!

The famous Taj

breakfast!

The first few 100 kms from Udaipur to Surat was one of the best roads of all our trip. I am one of those creatures who crave for curves! and this was the first time i was encountering such a great road, with scenic hills on both sides.. It would be amazing during the monsoon i believe.

We did not stop for any clicks as we had a time constraint and we rode about 500 km's to reach Satara. Found a lodge on the side of road near Satara and we crashed there.

Final part coming soon!![]
