Let's Go Home : Last Travel Experience Last Year ( December 29,2021)

in #travel3 years ago (edited)

How are you , hivers? I hope everyone is doing great and having fun this yuletide season, despite all the crisis that you've faced.?

Last December 29,2021 I travelled Cebu to Tacloban to celebrate the New Year with my family in the province.

Since they cannot make it to Cebu ,I decided to go home to see them. So I packed some of my stuff and left Cebu last December 29.

I drove to the airport at 10am in the morning, I thought there would be so much traffic that's why I left Ate Gil's place so early. Good thing, there isn't and when I was in the airport to drop my baggage here are some of the things I should always remember:

  • First , install the Traze Application and register to get a QR code.
Secondly, prepare the plane ticket .
  • Third, present a valid ID for verification purposes.
  • Fourth, always be honest to tell that you are carrying fragile stuff like perfumes, nutella, skippy and toys. hahahah' well, that's for me. Coz I always have breakable stuff in my luggage 😁.

While I was dropping my luggage two gentlemen assisted me and because my one luggage was not packed well, he helped me so that my things would not be lost. I told him that those things are all toys. 😁 So they put Fragile stickers all of my luggages since most of them have fragile things.

Checked in and dropped off my baggage after a few minutes and I got my ticket. I go straight to the gate and area that is specified in my ticket. Tha airport was not too crowded, some shops were closed too. While I was roaming around to get a hot coffee, I noticed a young man selling Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, so I went to him to buy some. I bought 3 boxes of doughnuts for my brothers coz they love doughnuts. One of the pasalubong they really want when I or my other siblings are visiting them.
The doughnuts cost me Php758.00 pesos only.

My flight was 2:30pm in the afternoon, and I waited there for 2hours and a half. Not boring for me coz I have my coffee, and music in my ears. That helps me to meditate on what to do in my stay in the province. 😊

The time came, at 2:15pm we boarded a small plane, and took off at 3:00pm ,30 mins late from the original time. It's fine for me though, because the captain announced that there will be traffic in the air and we will be experiencing a shaky plane because of the weather. I expected that we would arrive late.

Indeed, it was a bouncy and shaky experience while we aren in the air. . Though it was a 30mins flight to Tacloban City, it took us 1hour to go down and land. So after an hour , I was so happy that I'm 3 hours away from home. 😁🥰 I immediately, go to the luggage area to get my stuff and get a taxi to the terminal that will take me to my hometown Guiuan.

Though, I experienced so much stress in the van terminal because of the Spass , good thing there are really good people around who want to help for free. That day, I met people who are humble and kind enough to hand help everyone:

  • First , the taxi driver who took me to the airport was safe and sound.
  • Second, the staff in the airport who helped me with my luggage.
  • Third, the captain and stewards in the plane who assisted us.
  • Fourth, the taxi driver who brought me to the van terminal so I could take the last van to my hometown.
  • Fift, the man who helped me to make the Spass and watched my luggage while I'm in a long line to get a ticket .
  • Lastly, the van driver was too careful because he valued the life of his passengers.

Though, they can't see this post of mine. I would like to extend my wholehearted thank you to all the people who helped people who are in need. Always know that you are appreciated, little help or big help it doesn't matter as long as it came from the heart. Again, thank you! bless us all.

I'm ending this post happy and smiling , coz I'm here at home safe and grateful to see my family for I was 3 years away from them.

While we still have time and they still have time. Let's make mem'ries with them.😊🥰

That's for now… Spread love and kindness.

oh, traze app is used to trace where you came and what place are going too. Coz amid pandemic this traze app used a lot of travelers mostly in airports I think.

Finally reunited with the family. Good thing you made it safely back there. We miss you already here. See you soon!

Yeah, sa wakas na kapag new year din kasama sila hehe. kumusta kayo jan? Bisitahin niyo si Ate Gil 🥺😊 baka need kausap nun..Thank you Klause.

See you soon.
