"Coorgu or Kodagu is an affluent Hill Station in India which is not far from Banglore. It has exotic scenery and lush greenery. Coorg is famous for its Coffee plantations. Because of the beauty and wonderful weather Coorg is called " The Scotland of India "
Coorg is almost 5 hours drive from Banglore. I travelled with my family from Banglore by road and reached Coorg almost 5 hrs later. On the way we saw Mysore which is also very beautiful. As we reached late we could not go for any sight seeing and hence checked in to a resort. Next day early morning we went out for sight seeing. One of the most interesting thing to see in Coorg is the Tibetan Monastery. It took almost 2 hours to go around the Monastery. After visiting the Monastery we visited a Coffee plantation.
We returned to Banglore the next day morning.
Looks like an amazing trip! Beautiful surroundings and it looks so warm and sunny... Looking out of my window, I see snow... I'm jealous.
