1. Acropolis Museum Greece

This museum in Greece was founded in 2003 and was open to public on 20 June, 2009. The museum was designed to acknowledge every artifact found on the rocks and the surrounding slopes of Greece. It is centered in the disintegration of a part of Romans and early Athens. It is a type of archaeological museum.

2. Parthenon

The people of Athens worship Goddess Athena, they consider her as their patron. This temple was in the construction process when the Athenian empire was at the crest of its power. The Parthenon temple is dedicated to Goddess Athena and is a very historical and former temple in the estate of Athenian Acropolis,Greece. The decorative sculptures of the temple are located at a good height.

3. Meteora

Meteora is located in the central Greece region of the Europe. It is fully formed of rocks and is considered as one of the largest rock formation as compared to other Eastern Orthodox monasteries. It is a no small thing as it is considered as a world heritage site. One can estimate the idea of it's height by the fact that it is located at the top of rock pillars.

The Ionian Islands refer to the cluster of islands in Greece. In earlier times, they were called by the name Heptanese. The word Heptanese means the group of seven islands. Around 1200 BC, the islands were settled by the Greece residents.

Knossos also pronounced as Cnossos is believed to be the Europe's oldest city. It is the largest bronze age archaeological site. The palace was put to sleep at some time in Europe when the bronze age was about to end soon. Many disasters ruined the palace and made it a segregated one. The place is associated with the middle Minoans, people who are of unknown ethnicity.

Temple of Olympian Zeus, Athens is a monument in Greece dedicated to the Olympic God Zeus. This temple is also referred to as Olympieion or Columns of the Olympian Zeus. It took very long to complete the construction of the building and was considered the greatest temple in the ancient world. It was invaded by a Barbarian in the 3rd century AD resulting in the short lived glory of the temple.

8. Plaka

Plaka incorporates the labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture and is located in the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. With narrow cobblestone streets completed with tiny shops selling jewelry, clothes and local ceramics, this place provides a full village feel. It is also referred to as the Neighborhood Of Gods as it has its center close to the Acropolis in Greece.
