I was born in a town called Tucacas, located in western Venezuela, specifically in the Falcon State Jurisdiction. When I was six years old I moved to the island of Margarita, where my maternal relatives live; On this island I made my life without forgetting my roots. After 45 years I decided to take my daughters: @orianadvha and @arianahernandez so that they would know a magical place that is in this humble town, the "National Park Morrocoy", natural paradise, dream place that captivated them.

In the village there is a wide range of accommodation, ranging from the simplest, to the most demanding tastes. Also, it has a varied typical and international cuisine. You can get formal or beach restaurants, where you can taste seafood.

If you arrive at the park by car, you must pay a fee to INPARQUES, a public institution that is responsible for the administration and protection of this natural attraction. It should be noted that this payment guarantees the use of parking. Pedestrians are exempt from this tax.

To fully enjoy Morrocoy, you must go by boat to the keys (islands). It can be through the hiring of private boat, or through peñeros (small craft craft) that can be shared with other passengers. These boats can be taken from "Punta Brava", beautiful beach with white sand and crystal clear waters; its name could make you believe that it is an oceanic beach with a lot of waves, but it is just the opposite, it is a haven that encourages relaxation.
This is where the National Park starts, so it's very busy; those who do not want or can not go to the cays, enjoy their stay in this wonderful place that has all the services: awnings, showers, restaurants, selling crafts and a large parking lot.

It should be noted that the National Park "Morrocoy" is made up of a series of small islands called "Los Cayos", they are sixteen in total: Under Cayman, Boca, Las Ánimas, Cayo Muerto , Paiclás, Cayón Pelón, Peraza, Pescadores, Playuela, Cayo Sal, Cayo Sombrero, Isla de Pájaros, Los Juanes, Playa Azul, Playa Mayorquina, each one offers a different charm, so it is advisable to visit one every day. We did not have enough time to visit them all, so we only went to Cayo Sombrero and Las Ánimas. However, I have prepared a collage with the Keys that we could not visit, to admire the beauty of this spectacular natural attraction.

Here is a short description of the keys I visited:
Cayo Sombrero
When we reached this key, we were amazed, we thought we had reached paradise. Its crystal clear waters with different green and blue tones, and its white sand captivated us; It is indescribable the emotion that is felt to be there, definitely, you have to live it and enjoy it fully.

It is the largest and most visited, has two extensive beaches, one in the front, where the boats arrive and another on the other side of the island. A forest of palm trees offers natural shade, so it is not necessary to rent awnings. This key has two small restaurants and awnings and chairs rental service; In addition the street vendors will offer you oysters, prepared from the sea with very particular names: "seven powers", "rises dead" (and other delicacies with seafood), as well as ice creams, snacks and soft drinks.

Cayo "Las Ánimas"
This key, like the rest, is also crystal clear, its sand is white and soft, it has extensive vegetation, ideal for those looking to relax and enjoy a rewarding day at the beach . There you can find awnings service, meals, drinks and water sports. In this Key, we find a natural pool very hidden, which we enjoy to the fullest.
