My Elephant Adventure in Thailand

in #travel7 years ago

Thailand is place where old style and modernism combine into a package of interesting smells, tastes, and experiences. You wont be able to see anywhere else in the world. Although Thailand lacks in the sanitary district its beauty as a country overshines. If you were looking for a vacation to experience a different way of life and a new grasp of feeling it is the place for you. Let alone the bargain to travel there makes it even better. A two way flight costs 400-700$ unless your flying business or first class. The best way to stay is to go with a group and rent nice airbnbs I did not spend more then $20 a night for extremely nice houses and apartments. Anyways enough of why you need to go there come see my you need to visit an Elephant Sanctuary. Warning there are many places in Thailand that abuse the elephants due diligence for where you decide to spend your money.

Here is the group of friends that I traveled with!

Everyday the volunteers smash up this tree to use as soap to clean the elephants.

Here we are feeding more sugar cane to the gentle giants they consume around 100lbs a day that has to be prepped by the hardworking volunteers

Sad that people abuse elephants because of their kindness
