This is the first in a series of visiting various places in the United States for the next few months.
While visiting Idaho we wanted to do some outdoor exploring. After seeing the potato drop on New Years Eve (yes they drop a giant glowing potato in Boise instead of a crystal ball) we wanted to see what else this state had to offer. Today we went out to a lake. It was beautiful and cold! In sub zero temperatures the lake had frozen solid. So solid that we could walk out on it. It was my first time walking on ice. The sunset was amazing and these photos don’t do it justice.

Here’s to more traveling!
Idaho is nice but go South especially during the winter it all looks the same up there during the winter. Its just White snow all over the place nice pictures though I like the idea & I will follow you.
Thanks! I will definitely take your advice. Hoping to head south soon and see what else the US has to offer.
That shot of your feet on the lake is awesome. I find it so hard to imagine a frozen lake from here in sweltering Sydney. I'd love to see one some time.
Thanks. It is a pretty crazy feeling to walk out onto the surface of a frozen lake. I hope to someday be able to visit Sydney though! When is the best time to go?
I'd say spring. Warm days and still beach weather but not summer heatwave hot 👍
