Hi my steemians friends! I want to share with you one of my best journey that I have!
this weekend my husband and I went to one of the amazing places that I ever been! a historical village named Abyaneh, it is one of oldest village (about 1500 years old) and Characterized by a peculiar reddish hue, The impressive architecture of its buildings and mosques, fire temples and historic castles, Abyaneh, which is called Viona in the local dialect, is in the Central District of Natanz County, Isfahan Province, Iran.
The buildings have been built into the mountain, and the red colour of the walls of this village is due to the iron in the soil, and the combination of this red colour with the greenery of the area looks good.
I love the architecture of these houses, there are so many details in their houses that you can watch them for hours.
For example, look at the balcony of this house
Or the wooden Girih windows of this house, I'll write a post about Girih in architecture soon.
and this door, Maybe it's interesting to you that these doors have two pieces of iron on them. we call them "Kloon", these are used for knocking, the one that is heavier is used when a man is back at the door because it has bass sound and the other one was used when a lady is back because it has treble sound , you can see ts old doors everywhere in Iran
This beautiful brick
There was a fire temple that was used during Zoroastrian times, And this is the mosque's door used by Muslims
Now I want to tell you about the local women's dresses here, they wore a short black flounced skirts with a dress that worn over it, and a white plural scarf that you can see below, men also wear very loose black pants that are very comfortable.
Local women often sell local clothing, Fruit leather and delicious food in streets and alleys. Many of their bread is good.
The trip to this village was very attractive for us, and I hope that you will be able to visit this beautiful village one day and enjoy it.
best regards
