I'm Jessica from the USA, a gal with a serious case of restless feet. After years of humming and hawing, I finally quit my job, but with no previous long-term travel experience, I conservatively set out expecting to return home after 3 months. That was in May 2015, and it has been over 2 years!

My travel style is: budget-conscious but flexible, social, adventurous, risky. I like getting lost, struggling to communicate using hand gestures, meeting locals, and learning about a country's history and current affairs.

My travel style is NOT always: easy, glamorous, photo-ready. Sure, you might find me chilling on a beach or getting swept away on a guided tour, but it won't be often. You won't find pictures of my meals or nonexistent fashion sense, unless they are culturally unique. That being said, there is absolutely wrong with these things! It just isn't what I prefer or what I'm good at, and there are others that have perfected the art of luxury and fashionable travel.
