This Amazing Canadian Lighthouse Is The Oldest In Canada
Spectacular Campobello Island is a must see while in Eastern Maine. It appears to be an island belonging to Maine, but that is not the case. It is one of the three Fundy Islands in Magnificent New Brunswick, Canada. It can be reached by vehicle or boat. Since it is part of Canada, you must remember to bring your passport.
This island is one of those places that is a must see. The Roosevelt family considered this their favorite place to vacation, calling the island "beloved." The locals consider it as a place to go for family relaxation and entertainment. The tribal people of the Passamaquoddy also love this amazing island, calling it Epakuwitk, which translates to "resting on the waves."
Perhaps one of the most exciting historic finds on the island is the Head Harbor Lighthouse, with it's bright red and white candy stripped paint job. To this day it is well kept up with all the native flowers and shrubs surrounding it.
Campobello Island is one of New Brunswick, Canada's biggest treasures. The island offers many tours and other outdoor activities such as whale watching boat tours, sight-seeing boat tours, bird watching, and Kayaking, There is a center for observation of wildlife, lots of trails for hiking, and of course camping. There are stargazing nightly, restaurants, accommodations, and both countries have fireworks for everyone's enjoyment.
There is also a second lighthouse on the island called Mullholland Lighthouse. This is a Marine Interpretive Center and during many times of the year, seal watching is also available. The staff at the center can answer all your marine life questions.
After a few hours of exploration, then it is a perfect time to have some amazing seafood. There are many quality restaurants on the island. Whatever you need, can usually be found on this magnificent island. This is truly a spectacular place to visit.
Campabello Island is the spectacular entrance for a two nation adventure. Lubec, Maine and Campobello Island, New Brunswick are ready to offer you the best of both nations. What an amazing adventure in the making. Please, don't forget your passport.

According to your description that island is a small diamond immersed in Canada. And it also has its historical glow as it is a place very connected to Franklin Roosevelt, who enjoyed his vacations there. I hope one day to visit Canada.
