Kichmengsky Gorodok in winter

in #travel7 years ago

In the last days of "vacation" decided to go with my wife to her parents in the neighboring area - in the Kichmengskiy Gorodok. The road thither is not so good - ice with potholes, reagent is not sprinkled.

In the town itself, everything is invariable: the symbols of this ancient settlement also stand.

Footbridge swept.

On wooden paths and stairs, everything is also nice to walk.

Trading rows are working.

Lenin stands in his place.

Russia is "thriving."

But heated by firewood...

Temples are being restored.

People catch fish, walk with dogs.

Life goes on as usual.

And most importantly, there is no such a number of resettled, empty, dilapidated houses! The village of Kich-Gorodok, of course, has a mostly one-storey private sector, but all the houses are painted and well-groomed, and even two-story houses are in order.

At last: etude in ginger tones.
