RE: Mexico Part 2 - Exploring Holbox with the Golfcart (Fotos + Videos)

in #travel5 years ago

I do know that part of Mexico! My sister-in-law is Mexican, so I have spent a lot of time in Mexico, but, less in the last two years. I loved just laying in the hammock, letting my toes touch the water or even dumping over and getting wet. It is the life, no? I feel fortunate to be able to travel so much, of course, not quite like you, but, I get plenty in. :) I was just getting back from South America when they shut our country down, we made it back by two days. I had no idea it was that bad, but, hello! Glad we weren't shut out.

Oh, yes. When you can taste it, you pretty much know what it was. Weird as that was a long time. Perhaps the breakfast helped it along. :)

I would be over more often, but, honestly, the way the feed is, it makes it hard. But better since the search button works on this site. The video was really fun to watch! I look forward to another one!

Tschüss!!!

Nice! Yeah it helps to have family in/from Mexico! For me its the aunt and cousin of my mum, so I was there traveling for one year after graduation and later got sent over by my company. In total I spent 4 years living in Mexico and went traveling there a few times!

But in the end I left, because it was hard to watch how tourism step by step destroyed this area! I really hope Corona helped to recover some of the reefs etc.. but I think the situation for the people there must be very hard! Everybody lives from tourism... on the other hand they should learn how to be sustainable and good to nature in the long term..

Well, I am working on my video skills and I think you gonna like the next one coming out on Wednesday ;)

I know what you mean! I have hardly time to answer all my comments, and the ones from hivebuzz, and from pinmapple haha!! That's why I am always thankful if someone takes the time to read my posts and come over ;)

Cheers, liz
