Huka falls is the most relaxing place in North Island, New Zealand. On a clear sunny day, the water is an amazing crystal clear blue. There are about 220,000 litres of water per second flowing through the falls. The amount of water is enough to fill one Olympic sized swimming pool in under 11 seconds!
Look at the the colour of the water! 💎 💎 💎
The unique blue colour of the water at the base of the falls is created by the clear water reflecting the blue light and the air bubbles in the water intensifying the colour further.
By the way, Huka means "foam" in Maori.
