Hi, Steemit's friends all ... !!
Tonight I want to share some photos of my trip with my wife to the tourist location of "Batee Tutong" Beach, located in Aceh Jaya.
According to information posted on the website page http://acehjayakab.go.id/, Batee Tutong is a village name located in Calang, Aceh Jaya. The village is located about 1 km from Calang City. If you drive to Banda Aceh, this village is on the left side of Meulaboh. This village is located not far from the beach, about 20 meters.
It is said that the history of naming this village is Batee Tutong because once every turn of the year, trees located on a small island located within the village area, withered like burning. Since then this village is known as Batee Tutong which means burning stone. Although now, the name of the village turned into Panton Makmur, but people still call it Batee Tutong which means Burned Stone.
In the website http://acehjayakab.go.id/ mentioned that, Aceh Jaya District was formerly part of West Aceh district, located in the west coast of Aceh Province. It was built by Sultan Saidil Mukawil (1588-1604 AD) and continued by Sultan Iskandar Muda (1607-1636 AD) by bringing people from Aceh Besar and Pidie. The first kingdom of "Negeri Daya" emerged in the late 16th century AD with king Alaidin Riatsyah Sultan Po Teumereuhom Daya title. The Kingdom is located in the District of Jaya now.
Aceh Jaya is one of the most famous areas with great marine tourism potential. Since two years ago, the local government continues to perform various development and tourism promotion, one of which is Batee Tutong Beach.
Batee Tutong Beach is still very beautiful and clean. Although located not far from the national road Meulaboh-Banda Aceh, but the existence of this beach has not been widely known to the public. Its clean white sand and shallow coastal fringes make this beach comfortable and safe to visit with family.
In addition, Batee Tutong Beach is also suitable for sunset lovers, because on this beach visitors can see the sun setting process perfectly between the small hills in the sea. This is what we have not had time to enjoy, but the people there have offered to wait for the sunset moment. But for fear of reasoning too late at home, we decided to go straight home.
But we promise to come back again to wait for that beautiful sunset moment.
