This is the Tea Museum which is near the Heritage Museum. This province has the best tea in China and there is a tea culture and most homes have a tea table in the living room

As you say, every home has a table for tea, perhaps it has become a traditional part of China. And I also see in every room of Fuzhou Tea Museum, it has tremendous historical significance. Looks like I want to, visit the museum.😊

Actualy I think..Natural history exhibit was excellent, as were the displays of Fusion's history prior to about 1800.Wish there had been more in English, but there was enough to keep me going. More modern history on top floor was as interesting for light it threw on Chinese political views as factual material. The exhibit still looked like it was prepared by professional historian, but now it was modified in some degree by political views. Denunciations of Western imperialism in 19th century were interspersed with discussions of the science of socialism, discussions of the people's expulsion of Japanese invaders in 1945 failed to suggest Japan was overwhelmed in other theaters, and so It wasn't too bad,but I no longer had the feeling I was viewing the dispassionate work of professional historians....

Really interesting site. Because it's not operational you can look closer at the machines than you can in the working ones. The guide was clear friendly and knowledgeable. A welcome free tea at the end with no pressure at all to buy anything

The museum is well set out with lots of original machinery and explanations about the history of tea making and processing. There is really good video presentation on the top floor next to the cafe where you get your ‘free’ tea to drink
It’s low key but worth the trip up into the hills
