Cu Chi Tunnels are located at Cu Chi District in Saigon.
Cu Chi Tunnels are used during the war in Vietnam, it has a 250km long.

During the american war, the U.S troops doesn't have any idea about these tunnels, so whenever they're out in the woods, they get killed so easily without spotting the vietnamese.

This is one of the traps that are used during the war.
This trap is a re-modeled one, but you get the idea how it works.
First they put leaves on the top as a camouflage and by the time the americans walked on it.........dead.
Vietnamese used bamboo as a spikes of the trap.

Look how small their way in to the tunnels. This is the original size, you have to crouch to go in.

When a bomb or any explosives doesn't really explode, the vietnamese takes it and they remove the gun powder to make it into their own explosives, they usally used it as a trap for the enemies vehicles.

This tank is special, you wanna know why?
This tank was destroyed by the vietnamese traps and, this is the exact place where it was destroyed.
After the war, they never disposed this tank, instead they put cement as a remembrance.

This is how they made the tunnels, one is digging and one is disposing the dirt.
The depth of the tunnels are 3m - 10m.

These sandals are made from the tires of a car, plane even tanks.
Whenever the vietnamese soldiers are out in the woods, they reversed their sandals to fool their enemies.

Vietnamese villagers are the one who makes the traps and this is the door trap.
Whenever the american soldiers burst out through their door, the vietnamese easily used this to kill.
Believe me or not there are no ways to avoid this trap.

After seeing these things we went underground but I couldn't get any pictures 'cuz it is so dark in there and you have to crouch for you to go through the exit.
The vietnamese did a pretty good job protecting their country.
If the vietnamese haven't come up with these ideas, they're porbably gone to extinct.

Anyways, I hope you like what you have seen.
