One of the typical narrow streets of Monsaraz, a medieval village located in the heart of the Alentejo region (southern Portugal). In the background, we can see one of the most unique habitats in the Mediterranean region, which only exists in the Iberian Peninsula: the montado (portuguese) or dehesa (spanish).
