Greetings fellow steemians and welcome to another one of my fantastic adventures. This time around fellow steemians, I am going to share with you my short trip to Kokol. Now, for some of you who don’t have any clue where Kokol is, well, it is actually situated in Menggatal, a sub-district on the west coast of Sabah. It is a best place for you and your family or even your love one to get away from the hectic city life once in a while.

If you are around Kota Kinabalu, you might want to try and go there once if you find that going to Kinabalu Park or Kundasang is far. It only takes about half an hour to 40 minutes by driving rather than you take like 2 hours driving to Kundasang. Furthermore, there are plenty of homestay that you guys can choose if you looking for a place to stay there and why I say that this place is similar with Kundasang, it is because the cold weather that they have there and guess what, the place has now become a hotspot for paragliding.

The view that they provide there is simply breath taking where you can see the whole Kota Kinabalu City and the island around it and on top of that, the scenery around Kokol is also simply magnifying. It was basically a short trip for me and my family there, as we have our lunch there in a restaurant called Kokol Farmstay. Though the price was a bit pricy, but it doesn’t matter as the view is totally worth your staying there.
