Stuck in New Jersey for a few hours...
Coming off a stellar two weeks in Puerto Rico, it did not take long for the chaos of everyday life to resume. I woke up at 2:45am to drive to Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in San Juan. I got on my flight no problem, despite the fact that the TSA line consisted of several hundred people. This was much longer than the line at my local airport in WV when I first left two weeks ago, a total of one person was in line, and that was me.
My first flight today had fuel issues before takeoff, so instead of it taking four hours, it was a five hour flight to Newark, NJ. Upon arrival in the terminal, I sprinted towards my next flight, but I was still too late. It had left ten minutes prior, so off to schedule a new flight I went. To my own dismay, there was only one option. I now am forced to fly all the way to Chicago, IL at 3pm. Then catch another flight from there to my home. Instead of getting back at 2pm like I had planned, I will now be home at 9pm.
My airline took care of me despite the slight annoyances. They upgraded my return flights, and gave me some food vouchers. In my eyes, my vacation is just being extended. I always find a way to be positive in almost any situation. Plus this airport is pretty great, so many restaurants to choose from. There is literally hundreds, if not thousands of iPads sitting around for use too. Although I have chosen to stick to my trusty MacBook Pro.
Somehow still full of energy
You would think I'd be down right now, angry, or lost even. Instead I am drinking the best chai latte ever (probably because I had them add expresso.) I'm also blessed with blazing fast wifi at the airport, which has enabled me to sit down comfortably and start writing this blog. I look forward to eating at the oriental restaurant just off in the distance, directly in my vision. Things aren't so bad.
I have all of my electronic gadgets on me, so I brought out my bluetooth Bose speaker. I have my music to the max, which I am sure is garnering some looks. I'm insanely focused and not paying much attention though. I'm in zen mode, thanks to songs such as "Samurai".

I love how you always find the positive in anything and everything❤️ I think Puerto Rico wanted you to stay, but this delay gives you plenty of time to focus on Steeming!
