Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
Panoramic view of the Jeseniky Mountains. Located on the border between the Moravian and Silesian parts of the Czech Republic, it is the second highest mountain range in the country. Jeseniky offers a number of popular ski resorts, numerous hiking trails and tourist attractions. Source: Shutterstock, author: Jagoush
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words. I will then go through your submissions and upvote those that meet the requirements. Let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
I am really happy to see more and more great photos being submitted to this challenge every day. Yesterday was no exception, we had several awesome entries featured in the photo challenge, including this amazing panoramic shot by our regular contributor @mibreit-photo with the following description:
The classic: Charles Bridge with the Hrad behind. I was fortunate enough to also get a nice reflection that evening :-)
Thank you for your submissions. Have a great day and keep on Steeming!
Please feel free to check out some of my other recent posts.

The escalators of the Prague metro go quite deep. Anytime I'm in Prague I use the metro system as it's efficient, good looking and a great way to travel quickly to different parts of the city.
Right on! Prague has an amazing system of public transportation. Fast, convenient and not so expensive.
amazing @shourai, the time you catch very quickly in travel, great job ..
The Maisel Synagogue in Jewish Quarters of Prague. It was built in the XVI century and it has been rebuilt many times. Its actual style is neo-gothic. The current building dates to late XIX, early XX century.
Panorama of Saint James Church in the Morning, Brno, Czech Republic. Photo was taken in June 2017 during my big Europe photo travel. It was Saturday early morning and many young men were returning home from night long clubbing and drinking (Brno is a city of students). Many of them approached me with 2 suggestions - make a photo of them and drink some bear with them :) Nice city :)
Great pic and an amazing entry. Thank you so much and have a great day. Tomas
Prague´s market of farmers at Naplavka on Rašínovo nábřeží. It´s open every Saturday and it is favourite place for residents and tourists too. You can buy there whatever comes on your mind - flowers, seasonal fruits and vegetables, delicious home-made and organic food and cakes and much more.
What a great place to be. Tomas
What looks like somewhat disturbing scene is actually a piece of art by Czech artist Veronika Psotkova. The sculptures are hanging from the Vysehrad Railway Bridge, one of the most famous train bridges in Prague. The weather was really bad on that day (January 2016 if I am not mistaken) so I went for a black and white shot there.
I will have to check that out next time in Prague. Thank you for sharing.
This is a picture form the bottom of pertin hill after my first time to the top. Walking down the hit was interesting as the sun was setting. I thought the lights looked really nice glowing through the trees at night.
Perfect place for a walk away from the crowds of Prague. Have a good one. Tomas
You forgot to upvote me :(
On the left you can see the Church of St. Nicholas, the main temple of the Hussite church. Here every day at 17:00 there are concerts of organ music. I myself did not attend this church (there was no time), but they say that there is a wonderful acoustics. And it's not surprising, everything is fine in Prague.
Great entry! Thank you so much. Tomas
One of the stained glass windows of St. Witt Cathedral. Each of which is simply amazing. They want to look at the fragment after the fragment. For this, even this picture is better to open in full size. To remove stained glass in different parts of the temple you need at different times, and always in sunny weather. Then they
If there was such an opportunity to fly up and hover in the middle of the temple ...
Great entry and information. Thank you so much for that. Tomas
I love the old streets of Prague. I love that Europe maintains the old buildings rather than knocking them down to make room for steel and glass like we do in North America. Such a lovely spot to visit.
This one actually could use little bit of maintenance:)... hopefully soon.
This photography is from Sychrov Castle situated 18 km from Liberec. The chateau rooms are furnished with original furniture and paintings. The castle is open to the public to a large extent, there are only a few forbidden areas.
Sharing another night shot of around the city. We were very lucky during the time we were in Prague the weather was really good to us so we were able to go out and get some night shots after dinner. Do keep an eye out for buildings that are lit up as the photos turned out really nice
Great shot! Thank you so much for sharing. Tomas
This is the lower part of the Prague astronomical clock! I guess everyone that's been to Prague has a photo of themselves here. The detail is beautiful to photograph. The toughest part is to take a photo without anybody else in it, given the amount of traffic on Prague's old town square. I managed to do it this time! ;)
What a great place for a personal photo!
Wenceslas Square, Prague
If you visit Prague, it is hard to miss out on Wenceslas Square since it is so huge. In fact, it is stunning 750m long and has a total area of 45,000 square metres!

I love that place, the sign of freedom:)...
Today I wanted to post a picture of food. This is a typical food but I don't know the name of it because everything was in Czech. This is a kind of restaurant (or more a cafeteria) where you can get cheap Czech food. It's Jidelna Svetozor (just next to the Naclavske Namesti tram stop, next to Wenceslas Square) and I paid 128 Czk for the food and the beer!
Which is about 5€... Václavské náměstí for them who does not know.
Yeah right, I did a mistake in the name of the tram stop. Thank you!
No problem. You're welcome.
One of the last places I eat at while I was there, sadly there was a miscommunication and we got the wrong meal. Was still good and would definitely recommend people check it out.
some kind of goulash with knedliky I assume :) Well, I am hungry now :)
It is Svíčková, which is pretty much a piece of steak with pureed vegetables and some bread dumplings. It is amazing.
The meal on the picture is not a Svickova. The only thing I know is that there is mushrooms in the sauce
Could it not be a variant of Svickova? You would probably know better than I would but I thought the term was pretty broad. Regardless, it looks really good.
Yeah, guys. It is not Svickova. Not really sure what meal exactly that is. Could be something more local. However, typically Czech - heavy and yummy, lol....
bread dumplings are knedliky - I am sure :)
But... the main thing I have no idea :) it's goulash with mushrooms haha :D
Love it! There are places in Prague where you get a good deal for your money.
Among The Green Rocks
It is the waterfall on Satina river near Frýdlant nad Ostravicí in Moravian-Silesian Region. I had found this beautiful place accidentally when I decided to make a couple of photos of the misty woods.
Perfect pic for the cover of the magazine:)....
Thanks! )

Here's a nice view of the rolling hills around the Vltava River on our way back down from the parliament/church. The whole path was cobblestone street which I love.

How can I apply a photo on this contest? Is it still open?
That's me, when i was eating TOSHICAFA and OKRA soup in one of the food court in Bauchi State, northern Nigeria. Its was my first visit to the northern part of Nigeria, as I'm from the Southern part of the country. In my visit to the bauchi, i decided to have a taste of their meals to know how God it is, and to to greatest surprise, the food was good.
Plese avoid posting images in other's post that are unrelated to the topic. That is considered as spamming and might hurt you sooner or later. Tomas
Thanks boss... Let me delete it asap
I had never been there but would love to visit one day! It looks so beautiful!
