WARNING: The use of images that are not your own on which you claim the ownership will be flagged and/or reported to @steemcleaners - HELPING TO STOP PLAGIARISM ON STEEMIT

Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @phortun:

One of those most iconic Prague views that it is almost impossible to get tired of I guess. When walking from the Petrin Hill to the Prague Castle, there are several look-out spots near the Strahov Monastery where you can enjoy this brethtaking aerial view of the Czech capital. Image taken in summer 2015.

I love this place ... first for its aesthetic .... Then there are less tourists than the Old Square ... it's more mixed between Prague and tourists .... And the you can find everything here: trams, the big shopping center, cafes and restaurants, casinos (to play even during the day), the magnificent Municipal House ...
and a small, almost permanent market ...
beautiful place and lively ... without being overloaded like the old place ....

Republic Square (Namesti Republiky)

Hello @kouba01. This is truly a great photograph! Would you mind sharing with me, which kind of camera did you use?

Hello guys, this is picture of me on holiday at Prague about 2 weeks ago. My home city is Ostrava on second side of my country then Prague, but i love to go to Prague anytime. Behind me its Prague Castle one of my favorite buildings in Prague.

Great dear

Hi @victor.phuket! You certainly know, how to add originality to the photo! This is something I will happily support! Dobra prace!

Lamppost as a work of art. Not every statue can be so refined. Although it reminds me more of an unusual tree.
If desired, you could make a whole collection of unusual lights that can be seen on the streets of Prague. Few other cities can boast of this.

Prague

Stromovka, or the royal treasure, is one of many Prague parks. The area is the largest in Prague and occupies an area of 104 hectares. In recent years reconstruction of roads and creation of new water areas took place here. Currently, the reconstruction of Šlechta restaurant. My photo is from the creation of new lawns around the new ponds. On whitch I participated in.

Hi @softa! This is very nice photograph. It filled me up with peace and let my imagination flow. This is exactly the kind of photography I am here to support. Hodne dobra prace!

It was a day before New Year's Eve when I took this wonderful picture of John Lennon Wall in Prague. It was raining a bit, and as a result, the lights were reflected in it and the scriptures drawn on it were even better

I present to you St. Peter's Church in Biskupská Street, Prague 1, New Town. The church was built between the 12th and 15th centuries. Tourists have not yet discovered it, although it is the gem of late Romanesque and Early Gothic architecture. Inside, the baroque dominates.
P1070376.JPG
Right now, when no leaves are on the trees, they excel in all architectural details.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert - Second most beautiful gothic cathedral I have seen so far. First one in my opinion is Nidarosdomen cathedral in Trondheim Norway... but to the subject. This beauty we can see and visit of course in Prague, it was built in XIV century. I decided to show it in black&white to focus on the details in cathedral's walls. Amazing piece of architecture.

DSCF0118.jpg

Hello @photovisions! I think it was a good idea to show it in black and white, as it allows the cathedral to really stand up. Did you know that the complete construction took 585 years? Crazy, right!?

Interesting stuff, great support for photographers and great thanks for the comment!

I love the way this tree fits with the architecture. It seems like it's a piece of art in itself. I am sure there are fascinating details for any kind of tourist in Prague!

Hello @ruth-elise! I like this photograph very much. It has a cool vibe. Would you mind sharing with me, which kind of camera you used?

Thank you! :)
I used Canon EOS 70D. Can’t remember which lens, I think Canon EF-S 15-85mm.

Hello fellow Stemians.
If you ever visit Prague, you will likely visit the Prague Castle. I definitely recommend you to connect it with visiting ''Petrin'', as this path offers breath-taking views.

Hi @imbi! It is lovely photograph and indeed a great view! This is a photograph I will happily support!

I enjoy when nature is what makes the picture more beautiful and more specific. This is in the city of Brno, view from the Špilberg castle. Can't get over the awesome sky that was there the whole day, almost rainy/stormy like, but the weather was really warm :)
DSC00693.jpg

Ahoj @kindley! I like the atmosphere of this photo a lot. This is exactly the kind of photograph I am here to support. Proc se nezameris na publikovani fotek trochu vice? Steemit by to ocenil!

Ahoj, díky za tip! Nepovažuji se za úplně skvělou fotografku, jsem pouze začátečník ale ráda se účastím těchto soutěží :)

V tomto pripade koukni na tento clanek. :) Happy steeming!

Charles bridge in Prague-a place of pilgrimage for tourists.
In Prague, there are at least 7 million travelers a year.
And all of them are sure to visit Charles bridge, as one of the attractions of the capital of the Czech Republic.
If you want to photograph a bridge without people, you have to get up early in the morning.
The parameters of the bridge: length of 516 meters, width of 9.5 meters.
The pedestrian bridge. It connects two districts of Prague-Stare Mesto and Mala Strana.
Year of construction of the bridge 1357! Then it was called Prague bridge.
It was renamed in honor of Charles IV in 1870.

Sobotinn.jpg

Sobotín is a village and municipality in Šumperk District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. Take the picture because I was struck by the architecture of this building, I could never know the name but I know it is a hotel.

I am posting this after reading your post about the Klementinum. It was closed when I visited Prague, which was a bummer (but maybe also a great reason to go back after I have crossed a few more places to go on my bucket list). However, I made a point to attend a concert in the Mirror Chapel where Mozart apparently played the organ. The program was the old touristy standbys of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Mozart's Kleine Nachtmusik, but the musicians were top-notch and it was a wonderful way to unwind from the crazy schedule of the day.

Thank you so much!

Wenceslas Square, Prague's main boulevard is beautiful even when it rains. In this photo I captured vibrant centre with The National Museum with the painting of Vaclav Havel, first and the most famous President of the Czech Republic.

Hello @liltammy! You played a little bit to much with the photo editor and the clarity and contrast is set to high. You can see that especially behind the statue. I do not want to be a pain in the ass, but it is not the National Theatre but Museum.
I checked your recent posts and I like this one in particular. Keep it up!
Vse je mysleno v dobrem, tak se na me nezlob.:)
@photofriend - supporting original photography on Steemit and fight against plagiarism. [introduction]

Thank you for letting me know! I just edited, of course it is The National Museum. I lived in Prague for year. It was just a typo. Thank you for being vigilant. T.

Prague at night. The image shows St. Vitus Cathedral at the Castle and other buildings of this complex, also the Charles Bridge. Their reflections on the Vltava Rivers are on the photo.

The Orthodox Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Methodius I met accidentally on the way from Charles Square to the Vltava and the dancing house. The Baroque cathedral was built in 1736 by the German architect Dinzenhofer. It is built on a raised terrace and looks like a tall building.

DSC05982.jpg

Excellent pictures It's amazing views I want to do this experience and visit these places

i took this photo 4 years a go in front of the Prague Castle which btw is the largest castle area in the world.
so be prepared to see a lot and do some walking. Depending on the time you have and your interests, better you decide which interior to visit.

This is one of the most beautiful place in this world. This is at mysliborice, vysočina, czech republic. amazing place. have a lots of tree, big big tree planet, lots of hill also. like a fotest! I really enjoying my weekend with my brother.

IMGP5665.JPG

I discovered Šumperk last year, a little bit by accident, but I'm glad that had a chance to visit this city, which is also famous because of witch trials when 48 people were killed,

19.JPG
Here my picture from Prague 2012 and the only question I asked myself was: What is he point to?
Anyway, there are a lot of funny memes in my head. This picture was taken on the Carls Bridge by myself.

As the sign says, this is where Czech president lives. I took this photo a couple years ago during Wine Festival (Vinobrani) around Prague Castle.
I assume it is the yellow house in the back.
