Hello fellow Steemians,
I hope you are all having a great weekend! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.
The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.
Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.
There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @ritxi:
Krkonoše are highest mountains of the Czech Republic. People usually visit Krkonoše in the winter time, because there is a lot of possibilities for ski. But during the spring/summer season, you can visit and enjoy the sceneries and landscape even more than in the winter. I would recommend you to visit it. Ahoj!

Panorama of Charles Bridge, Prague
One morning I decided to go to Charles Bridge to capture some panoramas. Strangly enough that other photographers rare use panoramic technique when shootimg Charles Bridge and I had an opportunity to make some unique pictures of the very well photographed subject. I created 2 panoramas there - the first one with Old Town Bridge Tower.
I think i still have a lot to learn in photography. Awesome shot.
Perhaps i will need some tutorials on photography from you :)
Just one word to describe your image - tremendous!
Front view of Marianum, a huge building complex that is home to a psychiatric hospital and charities that take care of the patients. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, it is one of the most important and renowned pieces of modern architecture in the Silesian city of Opava.
Silesian Ostrava Town Hall is one of my favorite buildings in my home town and was build between years 1911-1913. Location is just few meters away from center of Ostrava next to Milos Sykora Bridge over river Ostravice. I use to go there for walk with my dog when i was live in Czech republic.
January 2, 2018 had a great rest in Karlovy Vary and returned home to the city of Pilsen. In the evening on the way home we saw a very beautiful sunset. We stopped and took some pictures. This day was the most unforgettable and magical in our journey.
Church of St. John of Nepomuk in Štěchovice is the parish church built in the years 1911-1915 in Art Nouveau and neo-Romanesque style, designed by Kamil Hilbert. During World War I and World War II, the bells were confiscated, leaving only a small bell on the tower. In 1978 a second bell dedicated to the Virgin Mary was installed.
The center of Prague has many wonderful, narrow streets. This one is one of them. I can't remember exactly where it is as I like to get lost wandering around in Prague, which is easy, but I am pretty sure it is close to the National Theater.
Those definitely add a lot of charm!
I walked the river several times from Charles Bridge to Jraskuv over. The walk is very nice on both sides of the river. Because there are a number of bridges you can cross the river many times and have different views of the river and Prague. It's also nice to see some of the magnificent architecture of the buildings near the river. I would recommend going for a walk along the river. It's a nice way to visit Prague.
Such an awesome shot. Great work👌
If you want to enjoy Prague at night you should definitely go to Náplavka. There are many boats with bars and restaurants placed on Náplavka, and it's always beautiful sitting there, having view on Prague Castle, enjoy good beer and having a pleasant time! Once you sit on deck you certainly come back !
Street Puppet Theater at Charles Bridge
In this age of television and the global Internet, it's strange to see people enthusiastically watching the simple puppet theater. I did not even understand at first what they were doing there. And then I joined myself and watched the puppet show with great interest
It is home to almost 3000 square meters of office premises, a restaurant, a gallery, and a conference centre. Most importantly, there is a sightseeing terrace on top of it, from which you can overlook the breathtaking panorama of Prague.
The Sedlec Ossuary is a small Roman Catholic chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints, part of the former Sedlec Abbey in Sedlec, a suburb of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic. The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeletons of between 40,000 and 70,000 people, whose bones have, in many cases, been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel.
Thank you so much for this entry. For some a great place, for some little spooky.. I go in the first category.
My last visit to Prague was the early Spring; comparing this photo to how the environment look now shows a greater difference. Even though early-spring is not my best season, there is a lot to perceive from Spring. This beautiful city will always be in memory.
This medieval is located at old town square in Prague.
It is mounted on the southern wall of Old Town Hall in the Old Town Square. The clock mechanism itself has three main components: the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; "The Walk of the Apostles", a clockwork hourly show of figures of the Apostles and other moving sculptures—notably a figure of Death (represented by a skeleton) striking the time; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months.
Křivoklát Castles
One of the oldest and most significant castles of Czech princes and kings. Late Gothic interiors, royal chapel and hall, library, dressing room, torture room, large tower with hunting exhibit and ramparts.
The views from the surroundings of the Prague Castle (Pražský hrad) are astonishing. In first term you can see a part of Malá Strana, and at the other side of the Vlatava river there is the Old Town (Staré Mesto) and the Jewish quarter called Josefov.
Map of Czech Republic with castles and palaces, so you can see that there is a looot of them. I took this photo in Jindrichuv Hradec in 2016.

How would I like to participate in competitions like these, where the photos speak for themselves of natural beauty, but for lack of a professional camera it is better not to approach because if you do not give photos with excellent quality how are you, then better not present anything, what congratulations, the photo is spectacular, someday I will do something similar. Happy day and greetings @czechglobalhosts
You do not lose anything with trying to upload your photo to this contest, they are personal photos not always quality is what matters. I think the content of the photo is what it's worth. Cheers.
