Hello fellow Steemians,

I hope you are all having a great day! :) As usually, I am here with my daily photo challenge where you can submit your personal images from your travels to Prague and other locations in the Czech Republic in the comment section below.

The best 15 entries of the day will get my upvote. I will then pick the absolute winner of the day from these 15 photos. The winning photo will be awarded with a bigger upvote and it will also be featured as the cover image for the challenge post the next day to give the author of the winning shot some more exposure and publicity.

Don’t forget to add a short background story for your entry with at least 30 words and let me just remind you one more time that only personal images will be accepted in the challenge.

There were many great entries submitted in the yesterday Prague/Czech Republic photo challenge and I had a hard time picking the best one. After a deliberate consideration, however, I decided to choose the following entry by @dimiimp:

St Barbara's Church. The cathedral is must visit location in Kutna Hora, take a walk in surrounding area, discover the beauty and greatness of the historic buildings. Wonderful church. Both the outside and the inside are beautiful. The views are also really good, you can go to the second floor to enjoy them.

Hrensko,
A little village surrounded by sandstone mountains and right next to "Elbe-River". Mainly a tourist destination with plenty of restaurants, a few hotels and a little river going through its midst. Vietnamese shops all over the place selling all sorts of clothing, toys and stuff... From there you can start pretty cool hikes into different areas of the bohemian Switzerland.

Incredible place that sure deserves little more attention. What a fabulous location for all nature lovers. Your image will make a great entrance into today's contest.

Thanks for the upvotes and sharing!!! I like it there ;)

Row of beautiful historic houses found on the Masaryk Embankment in Prague. Located on the right bank of the Vltava River, the Masaryk Embankment stretches from the Jirasek Square along the Slavic Island to the Legion Bridge.

Such cool architecture. Great photo.

The Old Town Square is one of the main highlights of Prague, so it is visited by many tourists during the whole year. So street artists perform all kind of stunts there. And people also play with soap bubbles. This photo was taken at the end of the afternoon when the sun was down, which gives an interesting mood to the image. At the background it can be seen the Old Town Hall Tower.

This is cool. I like how the color of the bubbles stand out. Really cool shot.

I am glad that you liked the photo. The idea of the composition of the photo is that the bubble stands at the centre covering some of the people and the tower and at the same time, and it reflects some nice the colours. Thank you for your nice comment.

The view towards the Charles Bridge from the Petrin Tower. The tower is an amazing place where you can make some extraordinary panorama pictures showing different areas of Prague.

The rooftops of Cesky Krumlov. It isn't the typical picture from Cesky Krumlov, but I find it to be quite amazing. The city has an enchanting atmosphere, and I feel as if this image is somehow able to capture that feeling.

Historic Center of Cesky Krumlov
This is a fabulously historic town to visit. Lots of lovely coloured houses, and steeped in history. Cobbled, steep streets and fantastic views. Walk up to the fort for breath taking views. Food is lovely here too.

Great for a day out, sit by the river or watch the canoes coming over the weir.

For me personally Pálava and its surroundings are the most cordial thing, and I love this place above all in the Czech Republic. Beautiful countryside especially for nature lover. Possibility of many activities, such as a bicycle, fishing, wine👍navice super landscape and people.

Yep, absolutely agreed:).....fabulous place indeed.

Dancing House
It is good to see that it is possible to build a medern house in an acient city. Great architecture! just enjoyed the view from the road side. Interesting architecture, which obviously stands out here. The streets outside are busy, so it's tough to get photos without wires or cars. The top floor offers nice views. Keep walking across the street and up the hill for nice views of the city.

Famous charles bridge with a lot of history. Be prepared for heavy foot traffic and vendors throughout. 10-20 minutes depending on if you walk both sides. This is the bridge that makes Prague romantic. It is a must see in Prague.

It is fun to stroll through the small streets of Prague's Old Town and to admire the imposing buildings. Here you should also go quietly in small side streets on a journey of discovery. A little annoying are the many exchange offices and crystal shops. Less might be more here.

View towards the Sova's mills and statue of waterman (vodník in Czech) "Kabourek" in Kampa island, Prague, Czech Republic.

Vodník (Waterman) is a green fairy with water always dripping from his clothes, keeping people’s souls under lids in his cups, preying for young girls walking close by rivers or streams, or washing laundry in them, taking them down to his water kingdom :)

Besides that, perhaps Kabourek has additional role to be the local counterbalance, in a way, to those unwanted imported locks attached to the iron bars on the small bridge over the Čertovka river in front of it.

Hi. The unity of birds and the clouds picture looking very beautiful. I like this photography a lot.... ☺

It could be said that the southern city of Prague is an open-air gallery. Since there are several dozen statues on its territory. One of them is a statue called Metro builder by František Radvan from the 1980s. This statue is also located at the metro station in Chodov.

The geological past of the Czech Republic, Kokořínsko, Central Bohemia
P1080891.JPG
As you climb the rocks of Kokořínsko, you climb, in fact, after the seabed, which has been here for hundreds of millions of years. You see fossilized sea shells, you see their prints.
And if you do not know anything about geology at all, it's beautiful.

The city fascinates at first sight. It is not even necessary to look for historical places and see the sights, it's a pleasure to walk, wander, stray in the beautiful narrow streets.
In Prague, antiquity and modernity coexist surprisingly. It was difficult to get used to such a picture, where under the ancient walls are parked modern cars.

A place in Prague for both young and old fans of John Lennon. a colorful wall full of links, pictures, photos, drawings, and when you stand, you will also hear a production from John in a workshop of a street artist. if you have at least a moment, definitely visit this wall. you will meet with her a lot of interesting people, who are taking pictures but just sitting under the trees and enjoying the atmosphere of John Lennon.

The collection of the National Technical Museum’s bicycles is one of the oldest and highest-quality collections in the world. The founder of this originally private collection, Augustin Vondřich, began collecting bicycles at the beginning of the 20th century and amassed an exceptional collection featuring a number of unique objects not found anywhere else in the world.

An ˋangelic´ impression of Prague ~ 🌟 ~ the image has been taken a few years ago when the grass had been much greener than it is now where — due to the extreme heat and dryness — we practically ˋenjoy Harvest in the very midst of summer´....!....

The Sedlec Ossuary church houses an impressive collection and artworks made of the bones of 60000 humans. It's rather small, so although you keep seeing new things when you keep looking around, expect to spend around 30 minutes max in the church. The chandler and coat of arms are very impressive. We were lucky to enter the church when only a few individuals were inside.
