Hello fellow Steemians!
It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries yesterday was very good with many high-quality images so it was extremely hard to decide on the winning one. I encourage you to check the entries as they really were all stunning.
You can see all entries and participants in this post: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - South American Saturday week #96 - the absolute winner takes 200 SBD!
Please give a huge shout out to the best ten competitors for taking part in the challenge and sharing their photos and experience with all of us here on Steemit:
@phortun @brsim @nenio @maxili63 @mirla33 @pedrocanella @jpphotography @vcclothing @karma-panorama
It would be great if you can visit their blogs and appreciate their awesome photography skills with some upvotes.
However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @maxili63 with the following entry:
This beautiful hill called by the indigenous Autana, was declared a natural monument in 1978. This tepuy is located in the state of Amazonas Venezuela and is approximately 1,300 meters high. The upper part of this mountain is completely walled by sandstone cliffs belonging to the Roraima Formation and one of its main attractions is that within the mountain there is a cave formed entirely quartz, measuring 400 meters in length and 45 meters in height.
What a great contribution from @maxili63 to the photo challenge! I have visited @maxili63 blog and upvoted his post called LoveFriday. My love the flowers. @maxili63 amazing entry from Venezuela is qualifying for the weekly challenge where it will be competing against the previous and upcoming winners of the week:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #96 - winner announcement!
@worldcapture Asian Sunday entry:
Thale Noi Lotus Lake. The sunrise around this lake was probably the most beautiful one I've ever seen in my life. The golden/orange sky felt almost unreal watching it from the boat. The location was in Phattalung - South Thailand.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #96 – winner announcement!
@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:
Broome is a very interesting place to visit in Australia. Famously known for the dinosaurs footprints that can be seen at low tide, it also is the town of the oldest world open air cinema in operation. Not to forget about it beach on which you can witness unbelievable sunset.
@phortun Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
View of an empty white sand beach and the Caribbean Sea on Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Located just some 13 km (8 mi) off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, Isla Mujeres is a little tropical island that is home to approximately 13,000 people.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #96 – winner announcement!
@jpphotoraphy African Wednesday entry:
Nejjarine Fountain in Fez, Morocco. This beautiful fountain can be found in the Medina of Fez. It is ornamented with mosaics and carvings. Fez' Medina is as confusing to get around as a labyrinth, so you are more likely to discover places like this by accident rather than by searching for it.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday week #96 - winner announcement!
@drmincu European Thursday entry:
The Apuseni are probably the wildest part of the Carpathians. Wild animals roam free in the natural reserves and man's touch is barely felt. And the nights are so dark that you can just lay down and gaze the milky way.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #96 – winner announcement!
@brsim North American Friday entry:
The rainbow balls of Montreal. They decorate Sainte Catherine street with the color of the rainbow. Hurry up if you want to see them, the decoration should be dismantled in September 2019.
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of this post and then entered to a monthly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 200 SBD in total. You can give @maxili63 your support by upvoting this winner announcement post.
My next challenge is coming shortly: Asian Sunday. Get your pictures ready! :)
