Hello fellow Steemians!

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.
The winner of the daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 20 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 200 SBD in total.
Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antartica and world´s oceans, African Wednesday, European Thursday and North American Friday and give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. @jpphotography Asian Sunday entry:
Streets of Bangkok
Bangkok was my last destination before returning home after 18 months of travelling. The busy city that has so many faces was a fascination place to visit. This shot taken from a bridge connecting two of Bangkok's major shopping malls captures the traffic in the large city.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Australian Monday week #15 - winner announcement!
@mibreit-photo Australian Monday entry:
I love Australia. In 2016 I had the pleasure to travel along Australia's east coast for five weeks and stopped at many wonderful places. This photo here was taken at Fingal Head south of Brisbane. Those interlocking basalt columns look great with the sea rushing around them. Then I was also very lucky with the light that morning. The glowing sky was the icing on the cake.
@bluebottlefilms Tuesday of Antarctica and the world’s oceans entry:
Upon arrival into the Antarctic Peninsula we watched this large iceberg pass by. The beauty of the Antarctic landscape is mind blowing and on every minute of the trip you are overwhelmed by your surroundings.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #15 – winner announcement!
@narchuk African Wednesday entry:
Africa is not only sands and palm trees. There are several best dive sites in the world. One of them is located in Sudan. Clear water. A lot of marine life. And huge caves and caverns, where you can see resting sharks.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #15 – winner announcement!
@skiesandsports European Thursday entry:
Wast Water at Sunrise
This is one of my favourite ever landscapes, of a place that really is special to me. My wife and I found it by accident on our honeymoon in 2012, we searched for years after that but couldn't find the lake until this year! (It's in Cumbria, UK!)
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #15 – winner announcement!
@lename North American Friday entry:
On my way to Staten Island
This picture of lower Manhattan was taken on a cloudy day back in November while I was on the ferry to Staten Island. It is worth noticing that some of the buildings, like the One World Trade Centre, are so high that are touching the clouds. To the right, you can see the Brooklyn Bridge too.

I took this photo a few miles out of Bariloche, Argentina over 8 years ago. It's a beautiful part of the world with lots of farmland and grazing fields for livestock and other animals. That's the Andes mountains in the background. My only regret is not having a greater appreciation for photography at this point in my life because I have so few pictures from this trip!
Thank you Matt! Have a great day and keep on steeming. Tomas
Good morning sir, there are really amazing photos here. It will be a difficult choice.
My entry:
I took this picture during my trip, the end of the year parties, on the road I can see this view of the Betania dam, located near the Municipality of Campoalegre in Colombia. On the road there are several viewpoints that allow us to appreciate the landscape of this dam.
Happy day.
Thank you so much for your submission. I love your image. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement post. Tomas
A panoramic photo of the Bogota Cathedral (Colombia). It is located at the center of the city in the Bolivar square. The Cathedral is a very important example of the colonial architecture in South America. Next to the Cathedral there is Sacred Chapel (a XVII century building) and the Archbishop Palace, built in the 50’s of the XX century.
Cahuita National Park is located in Limon province lying on the beautiful Caribbean coast. We made one day trip with a guide who showed us colorful frogs, sloths and bullet ants (named for its extremely potent sting).When you in Costa Rica don´t go to explore San Jose - it´s so ugly place!
What a great image! Very peaceful. Thank you for sharing with everyone. Tomas
This image shows the lake Lago Chungará in front of the vulcan Parinacota (6348m) in the Lauca Nationalpark. It is located in the North of Chile near the border to Bolivia. It is one of the highest lakes in the world at an altitude of more than 4500m. So you get out of breath very easily...
Absolutely beautiful image. I just love it!
This is a photo I took during sunrise from one of the dunes surrounding Huacachina in Peru. This is a very busy place during day with dune buggies howling around. But early in the morning it feels so peaceful.
Great sunrise and great composition. I like the line of the dune which leads into the image...
It seems like a dream place, beautiful photo
Wow! I don`t think there is anything else to say to this image. Tomas
Excellent light, composition, subject, and color! I love everything here!
Pescadores (fishers in Portuguese) came back with camarupim fish, each of them weights more or less 50 kilos. They said it wasn’t the best catch, the record was 48 that type of fish in that one small boat called Jangada. I wished them good luck and got some nice pics of them preparing it. Secret spot, Ceara, Brazil.
I love your pic and your entry. Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas
Llama feeding baby llama in Peru. Incas had Llamas and you can still find them here on Andes. Llamas helped Incas to grow maize high in the mountains. They used Llamas waste for organic fertilizers for their maize fields.
Took this shot on an early hike towards the spectacular and breath-taking Machu Picchu and boy, did the hard work pay off! Machu Picchu is an Incan citadel high in the Andes Mountains in Peru, above the Urubamba River valley.
Bolivian Dancers in Sucre at Fiesta de la Virgen de Guadalupe
When I visited Bolivia in 2015, I was lucky to be in Sucre during the Fiesta de la Virgen de Guadalupe. Music and dancing groups from all over Bolivia visit Sucre for the festival to participate in the parade. The dancers in their colourful costumes are nicely framed by the stunning architecture of Sucre.
Thank you for your submission. What a great pic! Tomas

This photo was one I took while visiting Buenos Aires Argentina. The city was much bigger than I thought and the people very friendly. The best part of course was the BBQ as it rivaled its neighbors Brazil and tasted amazing.
My entry for South America Saturday:
From Puerto Natales, I took a ship and then a boat to reach the Torres del Paine national park in Chile. It takes longer than land transportation, but you get to explore the marvelous glacier park on the way. And after a short hike upon landing through Rio Serrano, this is the amazing view you see:👇😀
